An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Technical Manager to join a leading food manufacturer in Canterbury. This role is perfect for someone with food manufacturing experience who is looking to step up into a leadership position within a technical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Factory Manager in ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards
- Maintain and develop HACCP plans, audits, and quality management systems
- Oversee customer and supplier technical queries, ensuring prompt resolution
- Lead internal audits and support external audit preparations
- Ensure product specifications, labelling, and traceability meet regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement in food safety and quality processes
