Our client, a prominent company in the science sector, is seeking two Laboratory Support Technicians to join their dynamic team in the Hertfordshire area. We have 2 open vacancies, one for full time (37.5 hours) and one part time (22.5 hours).
This role offers a unique blend of hands-on laboratory work and administrative tasks, providing a well-rounded experience for those actively looking for a job opportunity.
As a Laboratory Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and quality of the laboratory. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the team and the overall operations. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a variety of tasks.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Your duties as the Laboratory Support Technician will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Collecting and processing samples, including routine production and stability samples.
2. Preparing laboratory areas for testing and performing basic testing.
3. Calibration tasks and validation support tasks.
4. Performing system suitability checks, ordering supplies, and archiving records.
Role Requirements:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Laboratory Support Technician, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
2. Proven industry experience in a laboratory environment.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with GMP/GLP standards.
