Kameo Recruitment are excited to recruit an Accounts Assistant (French speaking) to provide flexible support across multiple areas within our clients’ accounts department. You will primarily assist in the smooth operation of the sales ledger function by managing billing and credit control tasks. This position offers a unique opportunity to make an impact across various accounting functions, driving efficiency and excellence in financial operations.
Hours of work:Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm. Hybrid working available after initial training period, 2 days working from home.

Duties and responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant (French speaking) include:
Sales Ledger:
- Contacting customers / suppliers in France via phone and email to ensure prompt payments of invoices and resolve queries that might arise.
- Monitor and complete electronic invoice transmission.
- Match payments to outstanding invoices and issue credit notes / re-invoice as required.
- Coordinate monthly customer account statements preparation.
- Assist with resolving shipped not invoiced sales orders and month-end tasks.
Purchase Ledger:
- Process purchase invoices and other outgoings to the ledger including expenses, credit card purchases, and direct debits.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any queries.
- Assist with payment run preparations and distribute remittance advices.
- Investigate aging goods received not invoiced transactions.
- Support month-end close and daily transaction tasks.
Requirements for the Accounts Assistant - French Speaking include:
- Fluency in French, with confidence in customer/supplier communication.
- Previous experience in Accounts, particularly Sales Ledger, is essential.
- AAT qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Intermediate Excel knowledge and Microsoft Dynamics 365 skills are a plus.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and ability to adapt.
