Late Machine Operator
Location: Littleport, Cambridgeshire
Hours: 14:00-00:00 Monday-Thursday & 06:00:14:00 Monday-Friday
Hourly Rate / Salary: 12.07 per hour + holiday paywith salary increases based on skill level
Duration: Temporary to Permanent.
Machine Operative position is available for a well-established company in Littleport. Previous Manufacturing experience is desirable for the position, but not essential as full training will be offered for the right person. You must have a can-do attitude, be comfortable working with tools and be physically fit.
If successful on pre-screening you may be asked to work on a paid 2 hour trial period

- Accurately measuring powders
- Setting and operating machinery
- Quality checking over finish products
- Assembling items using hand and power tools
- Keeping factory clean and tidy
- Working towards company targets
What we are looking for:
- Positive attitude towards work and colleagues
- Be able to work independently or within small teams.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience working with hand and power tools.
- Previous experience operating machinery
- To be able to measure out products accurately
- Happy with heavy lifting
