I'm looking for an experienced Credit Controller who can step in on a temporary basis and play a vital role within a busy finance team.You'll be focusing on managing the company's cashflow and fostering strong relationships with customers.Responsibilities:

  • Maintain debtor days within target levels by promptly following up on outstanding payments and notifying customers when accounts are placed on hold.
  • Resolve customer account queries and issues efficiently, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly review and release credit-stopped orders, assessing individual situations to balance risk and customer service.
  • Provide monthly ledger status reports to senior management.
  • Assess and monitor credit risk, track changes in payment behaviours, and recommend actions to mitigate potential bad debts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a balanced customer portfolio and provide feedback on the risk associated with transactions.
  • Regularly contact customers to follow up on payments and build strong relationships.

This will be a temporary role initially, on a rolling week by week basis.

You'll be working full time and on site Monday to Friday. Their offices are in Ely, not far from the train station and there is plenty of free on site parking available.
