We are a welcoming and thriving mainstream primary school in Cambridgeshire seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is committed to supporting their learning and development in a positive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and supporting students with their learning
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to students as required
  • Help create and maintain a positive, engaging classroom environment
  • Support children with their individual needs, including academic, social, and emotional support
  • Assist in the preparation of learning resources and classroom materials
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and training as needed
  • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents

Key Requirements:

  • A passion for working with children and supporting their learning
  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, flexible, and adaptable attitude
  • A desire to contribute to the school's ethos of inclusion and high standards
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
