Car Park Warden – The Role:

The hours associated with this post are 37 hours per week.

Week One: Monday to Friday – 7.45am – 4.00pm

Week Two: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday – 7.45am – 4.00pm

Uniform and protective clothing will be provided.

Car Park Warden – Key Responsibilities:

As Car Park Warden, you will assist with the enforcement of the Council’s Off-Street Parking Places Order by patrolling the district’s car parks, maintaining accurate pocketbook entries and issuing fixed penalty parking tickets, when appropriate.

Enter accurate observation information into handheld equipment and take appropriate photographic evidence as the basis for writing a witness statement as evidence for court action if required.

Car Park Warden – You:

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be able to work outside in all weather

conditions and be physically able to patrol the district’s car parks.

You must be a confident communicator, with experience of dealing with members of the public in a calm, tactful and diplomatic manner.

You will also possess good administrative, organisational and numeracy skills and be able to offer a flexible approach to working hours.
