We are currently assisting a thriving local primary school near Ely, Cambs in their search for a dedicated KS1 Teacher. This full-time position will commence in September 2024 and will contract you to work for the full academic year. For the suitable candidate, a permanent position will be reviewed if successful. As the selected candidate, you will also have a strong knowledge of the appropriate curriculums and be adept at supporting the children in your class to excel in their educational journeys. You will also be responsible for the full range of class Teacher duties during this time.

Experience in the use of 'Little Wandle and or Talk for Writing' is desirable, but not essential.

Your Essential Duties:

  • Diligently keeping up with marking and offering constructive feedback to students.
  • Delivering highly effective teaching by adhering to provided lesson plans.
  • Maintaining meticulous records of student progression.
  • Swiftly adapting to the unique needs of children.
  • Safeguarding the welfare of children and effectively managing disruptive behaviour.
  • Report writing
  • Attending school meetings

Your Requirements:

  • Possess a solid grasp of the KS1 curriculum.
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Possess an Enhanced DBS registered on the update service.
  • Exemplify a strong work ethic and an unwavering dedication to the success of your students.
  • Exhibit the flexibility required to cater to the unique needs of pupils.
