- Overseeing day to day repairs and voids, ensuring they are carried out to a high standard
- Inspecting works completed to ensure these represent value for money e.g. efficient use of materials
- Maintaining compliance for health and safety, ensuring this is promoted and adhered to
- Handling complaints and breakdowns in service to meet customer expectations
- Working with colleagues to ensure work is arranged, prioritized and completed in an efficient manner
- Included in an out of hours rota as supervisor contact a minimum of once every 8 weeks
- To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in a core trade subject, plus ILM membership (The Institute of Leadership) or currently undertaking the qualification. If you have a lower level qualification along with practical experience and would be prepared to undertake this qualification we would still welcome an application
- Recent experience of undertaking a similar role, preferably within a building maintenance or facilities management environment
- Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
- Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
- Basic user of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (or similar)
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

- £41,603 per annum (rising to £43,793 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
