A leading manufacturer in instrumentation which is used in the sensing and measurement industries for transmitters are looking to recruit an expert embedded software engineer to the team, to show the current members of the business the most modern embedded software techniques based around RTOS.

The business has in its portfolio of products the broadest range of technologies of any equivalent company in their sector, the business is part of a large group of companies which have a portfolio of measurement businesses under their umbrella. The company has been selected to be the member of the group who progress the technology and develop the skills identified internally that are becoming ever more required when applying corrections to sensors and algorithms to sensors.

The business needs to refine and bring in new skills, as they have a lack of skills withing the

There are always new processes implemented internally and the company need someone internally to champion this for embedded software. The company has a clear 5-10 year road map.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in new area which is, scientific and complex, and the embedded software engineer will not just be working with the software engineers but also the scientist who develop the mass and then the software team apply this to the product. The chance to work with a mix of skill sets, physicists, material scientists, software engineers and electronics engineers, should excite a ambitious embedded software engineer. The technical director has been with the business for 20 years and this is testament to the company. The team will be receptive to a teaching and coaching mentality from the chosen embedded software engineer who should clearly have good communication skills.
