Data & IT Support Analyst - SQL | Power BI | Excel | IT Support

We are supporting a well-known manufacturing company in Ely, who are looking for a Data & IT Support Analyst with SQL experience, advanced Excel skills, and proficiency in Power BI for data modelling and visualisation. You’ll also be the go-to expert for first-line IT support, so strong troubleshooting abilities and a customer-focused, patient approach are a must!

Duties and responsibilities of the Data & IT Support Analyst include:

  • Apply Business Analysis standards to all approaches.
  • Serve as a key user of ERP & Production systems.
  • Collaborate with management to create reports, dashboards and data queries.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage tasks and prioritise effectively delivering high-quality outputs on time.
  • Provide first-line IT support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain IT equipment.
  • Support onboarding, maintain documentation, and create presentations for stakeholders.

Additional requirements include:

  • SQL experience (PostgreSQL preferred), advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VBA, Power Query), and proficiency in Power BI for data modelling and visualisation.
  • Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, including integrating data from Excel/Power BI, and familiarity with analysis-supporting technologies.
  • Proven first-line IT support skills, including troubleshooting hardware/software, Windows/macOS, Microsoft 365, and remote support tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused, patient, and empathetic.

Hours: 8.30 - 5pm Monday to Friday

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000p.a. (Experience Dependant)
