Kameo Recruitment is proud to be teaming up with a well-established manufacturing company in Ely, to recruit a Warehouse Team Assistant. You will be joining our client’s New Product Development (NPD) team, responsible for producing one off sample orders and small batch runs. Along with picking, processing and distributing stock sample requests for our client’s customer base.
Hourly Rate - £12.21 per hour
Hours of work: 30 hours per week Monday - Friday (12-month contract)

Duties & Responsibilities of the Warehouse Team Assistant
- To support in all aspects of the sampling process, producing initial samples to small batch runs using inhouse sample equipment.
- Working with the NPD team to ensure samples are produced in time and to specification for customer requirements.
- Assisting in all aspects of sample mould preparation.
- Packing and processing of stock items ready for shipments from the sample warehouse to customers within the UK and internationally
- Checking and updating information using the CRM computer system
- To maintain general housekeeping within the sample warehouse area.
- To support NPD with adhoc tasks.
Requirements for if the Warehouse Team Assistant
- Ability to prioritise and to work within a fast-moving environment.
- Ideally have some warehouse hands on/manual handling experience but not essential.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and team player.
- Self-starter/proactive.
