Job Title: Transport Co-ordinator

Pay Range/details: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Omega are supporting a long-standing warehousing and distribution specialist in their search for a Transport Co-ordinator to join their expanding team. They are a successful, progressive, service orientated company where the contribution you make will be valued and fully appreciated.

As a Transport Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all transport activities within our operations, onsite, working with the customer. Your role will involve managing customer logistics, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with regulations. You will work closely with our suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient transportation processes.

Key Responsibilities – Transport Co-ordinator

• Plan and coordinate daily transport operations.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and carriers to ensure quality service.
• Monitor and track deliveries, resolving any issues that arise.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and maintain transport documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with the warehouse and production teams to align logistics with operational needs.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement cost-effective solutions.
• Maintaining effective communication channels and working together to maximise opportunities and resolve issues

Qualifications & Requirements – Transport Co-ordinator

• Previous experience in transport or logistics coordination preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in transport management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of UK transport regulations and compliance standards.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
