We are currently looking for an experienced Engineering Facilities Manager to join their team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of their production facilities.Job Overview:As the Engineering Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance and improvement of all engineering and facilities functions across their packaging plant. You will ensure the plant operates efficiently, safely and in line with industry regulations. This is a critical role in ensuring the upkeep of infrastructure and utilities necessary to maintain high-quality production standards.Key Responsibilities:Facilities Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant's facilities, ensuring all equipment, machinery, and infrastructure are operating at optimal levels.Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and guidelines within the plant.Budget Management: Oversee and manage the budget for facilities maintenance and engineering projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in both engineering systems and facilities management to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and drive sustainability.Project Management: Lead facilities improvement projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and post-project evaluation.Collaboration: Work closely with the production and operations teams to resolve any technical or facilities-related issues that may impact production.Requirements:Proven experience in an engineering or facilities management role within a manufacturing or packaging environment, ideally within the food sector.Good understanding of the Permit to Work system; IOSH training is ideal but can be provided.Qualifications: Electrically Qualified, Facilities Management, or a related field.
