Key Responsibilities

The Insect Production Manager will collaborate with existing management members and oversee a team of over 50 staff members.

  • Data System Implementation: Establish a data collection system tracking food inputs, hatch rates, yields, and environmental data to improve production efficiency.
  • Production Planning: Develop and execute detailed production plans.
  • Trial Management: Design and oversee trials to boost productivity and reduce waste.
  • Procurement: Manage procurement of all materials and feed needed for insect breeding and packing.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and manage production costs to achieve profitability goals.
  • Insect Health Management: Maintain the health of insect stock through biosecurity measures, optimal feeding, watering, and breeding practices.
  • Health and Safety: Implement Health and Safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment and providing necessary training to employees.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the team to achieve production targets, including conducting training and performance evaluations.
