Job Title:Draughtsperson

About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Draughtsperson to join a engineering team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will support the creation, review, and maintenance of manufacturing drawings, contributing to the development of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate specifications and drawings to BS 888 standards, collaborating with engineers to support the production of precision machined components and fabricated assemblies.
- Review and update legacy manufacturing drawings and associated documentation.
- Assist in the creation of bills of materials and other manufacturing documents using the MRP system.
- Design derivative products from concept to production, ensuring compliance with engineering requirements and manufacturing standards.
About You:
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, with SolidWorks experience highly preferred.
- Familiarity with MRP systems.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in all aspects of your work.
