Randstad is currently seeking a passionate, motivated, and adaptable teacher in Ely to join our dedicated team for two days a week.

This role offers a wonderful opportunity for a Qualified teacher who is looking for a varied and rewarding position. This is a key role, offering a mix of responsibilities including PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) cover for other teachers, as well as teaching responsibilities across different year groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons while providing appropriate PPA cover for teaching staff.
  • Ensure that planning for all sessions is of a high standard, with attention to curriculum, student needs, and differentiation.
  • Foster a positive and effective classroom environment, ensuring good behaviour, engagement, and progress.
  • Support ongoing assessment, marking, and feedback to ensure students' progress is tracked effectively.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience teaching in primary education, and the ability to adapt to different year groups.
  • A strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment procedures.
  • Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to engage students and foster a positive learning environment.
  • The ability to plan effectively and deliver lessons that cater to the needs of all learners, ensuring inclusion and progress for every child.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
