Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated English teacher seeking a rewarding short-term opportunity? We are seeking a passionate Teacher of English to join their schools vibrant and supportive secondary school in Ely on a fixed-term contract from April to July 2025.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop their skills, confidence, and love for literature and language. You will join a collaborative and experienced English department committed to high standards and student success.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching English at secondary level.
• Is passionate about English and able to inspire students of all abilities.
• Has strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and raising attainment.
• Can work well as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.
