We are seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join our team in St Ives. This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, covering three days per week in a long-term booking. The ideal candidate will have prior teaching experience and a QTS or PGCE is preferred.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons that promote physical health and teamwork.
- Assess and record students’ progress and provide feedback to help them improve.
- Maintain a positive and energetic environment that encourages students to be active.
- Organise and participate in sports events and competitions.
- Ensure all activities are conducted safely and in accordance with school policies.
- Proven experience as a PE Teacher.
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or PGCE in Physical Education preferred.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
