MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR / LEAD

Working straight days (Monday to Friday) with flexibility for occasional weekend cover, you’ll manage a skilled maintenance team, boost reliability, and keep our high-performing plant running at its best.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and motivate a team of 6–8 craft professionals across planned and reactive maintenance

  • Foster a safety-first culture—conduct toolbox talks, enforce compliance, and lead by example

  • Improve plant uptime and reliability through smart planning and continuous improvement

  • Own your team’s performance, training, and development

  • Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to keep everything moving efficiently

  • Support your own career growth by stepping into a leadership role with serious future potential

What You Bring
  • A strong practical engineering background (NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or time-served apprenticeship desirable)

  • Experience in continuous manufacturing or production environments

  • Leadership ability—you inspire, coach, and hold your team accountable

  • A safety-led mindset and a knack for fault finding and process improvement

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
