We're looking for an experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator for our client based in Ely. You will have experience of general sheet metal processes and accurate TIG welding skills.
Responsibilities:
* TIG welding stainless, mild steel/Zintec and aluminium to very high standards
* Working from engineering drawings on material thicknesses of 1mm to 3mm
* Welding box section frames and assemblies within tight tolerances
* Developing new products to meet customer requirements for light to medium fabrications
* Fabrication of jigs and fixtures where applicable
* General sheet metal fabrication and finishing
Requirements:
* Proven welding ability with a good eye for detail
* Competence completing paperwork to quality and aerospace standards (AS9100)
* Ability to interpret and follow customer drawings
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment
