We're working on the behalf of a highly reputable organisation looking for a new part-time Senior Bookkeeper. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including:
- Inputting accounts data into Xero
- Supplier payment runs
- Bank reconciliation, monthly revenue reconciliation
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting, accruals, prepayments, etc
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Support in preparation of annual budget
- Running a small payroll
- Implementing procedures and processes to ensure efficiency within the organisation's accounts
- Preparing for year end to pass on to external Accountants
The company only needs circa 8-10 hours per week, and can be flexible about how this is taken, and after settling in there is opportunity to work from home with occasional meetings in office. You will need really strong accounts experience, be a very confident user of Xero and be confident working in mostly sole responsibility position.
