Sales Administrator / Coordinator – Manufacturing

Our client who specialises in the manufacture of products for high end clients and projects is looking for a new team member to join an existing team of 5 other Sales support team members due to growth in business.

This is a great opportunity for a person who is confident dealing with coordination of a sale from initial quotation, administration onto sales CRM system to receipt by the customer, allowing the remote sales team to focus on new business as opposed to administration of the orders.

Personality is key to this role, you will be proactive, organised and enjoy having a very varied day including talking to suppliers, manufacturing teams, customers, remotes sales team members and resolving issues as they arise.

Previous sales coordination experience would be required as well as the ability to create quotations. (Full training on systems will be provided)

Duties will include…

  • Preparation & Production of Quotations
  • Processing of Orders through to deliveries and customer support.
  • Ensuring Data Accuracy at all times
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • To be responsible for the procurement and timely delivery of materials to ensure efficient production.
  • Work with other Departments efficiently
  • To manage a CRM database to include house-keeping and reporting.
  • To offer administrative support on projects (both internal and external), sales reports and marketing activity.

Skills and Knowledge Required…

  • Excellent Telephone Manner
  • The ability to prioritise work load
  • Some hands on experience of Sage 200 and Sage CRM Software or other similar CRM Software is an advantage.
  • Use of an ERP/MRP system previously would be ideal
  • Be a team player capable of bringing fresh perspectives and adjusting to new challenges.
  • Adopt LEAN manufacturing principles.
  • Well versed in Excel and other Microsoft Software

Working hours 

  • Monday-Thursday 8:45am - 5:15pm
  • Friday 8:45am - 4:30pm

Salary

£25.000 - £28,000 depending on experience
