Location: Hybrid role – 2 days per week in Leicester office, LE19 1SU

This is a hands-on role where you will lead a small team and ensure everything is in place for successful event delivery.

Your role will focus on guiding the team day-to-day, managing schedules, and resolving any issues that arise. You’ll also be the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring communication runs smoothly and deadlines are met.

Job Purpose, Tasks, and Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  • Line managing a small team, providing guidance, support, and direction.
  • Overseeing the scheduling, coordination, and delivery of public training events.
  • Acting as the main contact for client queries and escalate issues when needed.
  • Working with venues, speakers, and suppliers to ensure events are well-organized.
  • Monitoring feedback to identify areas for improvement and share updates with management.
  • Handling routine reporting and administration tasks to support team efficiency.
  • Coordinating with other departments on shared projects.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT tools.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing multiple priorities.

To be successful in this role, it would be great if you have:

  • Experience in the accounting industry.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally within the UK for on-site event management.
