Location: Leicester

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

Rise10 are working with a market leading Engineering and Surveying company based in Leicester who are looking to appoint a Principal or Associate Structural Engineer.

Duties:

  • Undertake structural design on both structural and civil engineering projects within commercial, residential, industrial and education sectors on projects up to £30 million.
  • Manage a team of project engineers and technicians.
  • Work on numerous projects at one time and allocate resources to meet deadlines.
  • Represent the company at meetings.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors.
  • Write reports and project documentation.
  • Use relevant engineering design software such as AutoCAD.

Skills and Experience:

  • Hold a BEng/Meng qualification and have a minimum of 7 years post graduate experience.
  • Be chartered or working towards chartership status through IStructE or ICE.
  • Design experience and structural analysis skills in materials such as steel concrete and timber.
  • Can use relevant engineering design software such as AutoCAD.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team leader experience.
