Job Purpose, Tasks and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing the Mercia Group website(s) alongside Wilmington Plc Technology Teams, as well as the e-commerce site and integrating it with marketing systems.
  • Collaborating on UI updates, development requests, and performance metrics to align with business objectives.
  • Implementing Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) strategies to enhance lead generation.
  • Developing and executing SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and visibility.
  • Managing paid search (SEM) campaigns to drive targeted traffic.
  • Implementing client retargeting strategies to re-engage cart abandoners and lapsed clients.
  • Overseeing pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns across Microsoft and Google networks.
  • Monitoring KPIs across all marketing channels to track performance.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience in B2B marketing.
  • Proficiency in using SEO/SEM tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and inform strategy.
  • Working knowledge of the Google Suite and MS Office.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of UX principles with practical experience.
  • A solid understanding of digital marketing channels, particularly social media in a B2B setting.

To be successful in this role, it would be great if you have:

  • Experience in managing and optimising corporate websites.
  • Experience in a marketing role within accountancy or a similar industry.
