TeacherActive are working with a lovely Nursery in the Leicester area. A job in early years and childcare is unique and rewarding. This specific Nursery has a few different sites across Leicester, and are looking for supply staff to help them on a weekly basis part time.
To be considered for this position as a Nursery Assistant, you must have at least 6 months experience working in a Nursery environment, as you must know how to keep a safe environment for the children and provide fun activities that help children learn and develop. The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
- Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant or similar)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
