Construction Estimator – (Commercial)

Full Time – Permanent

Location: Leicester (and surrounding areas no more than 1 hour’s distance)

Hours: Monday to Friday Office Hours   

Basic Salary: £35,000.00 to £60,000.00 Per Annum plus Car Allowance and benefits.

Our client is a highly reputable construction-based company established for well over 40 years with a huge presence across the UK. They have gone from strength to strength and experiencing organic growth. Our client prides themselves in providing a range Commercial Construction service to their clients and has a brand reputation of second to none. Due to securing NEW exciting commercial projects, they are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and experienced Construction Estimator on a Full Time Permanent basis.

Construction Estimator role:

• Manage tender processes from initial review to final submission for multimillion pound commercial projects as an Construction Estimator
• Conduct take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities.
• Consult with the sub-contractor supply chain to ensure competitive pricing.
• Analyse and assess quotations for compliance and value as an Construction Estimator
• Work closely with the Development & Managers to ensure profitability.
• Present bids to Senior Management for review.
• Prioritise workload when working multiple commercial projects.
• Regular weekly site visits within 1 hour from Leicestershire as an Construction Estimator
• To ensure estimates are tracked and submitted accurately within set time constraints.
• To follow up estimates for analysis, audit, and review
• Provide a great professional customer service to clients within the private and public sectors as an Construction Estimator and be customer focussed.

Construction Estimator requirements:

• Proven COMMERCIAL Quantity surveying experience
• Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience with COINS software or similar is an advantage.
• Effective communication and analytical skills.
