Main role of Accounts Assistant
Our role will be reporting into the Finance Manager working as a part of a larger team. The successful applicant will be required to ensure accurate and efficient costings and checking of invoices. Assist with payment runs via BACs, Purchase Ledger and supplier statement reconciliations.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant

Assigns entries to correct accounts, including invoices to purchase orders/committed costs

Account reconciliations
-
Looking after Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Credit Control
-
Process and procedure improvement
-
Able to raise month end payments
-
Ad hoc duties as required
Skills and experience:

Experience in a similar role desirable

Drive and enthusiasm

Excellent attention to detail

Self–disciplined, with good time management skills and an ability to prioritise various tasks.

Effective team player, supportive of departmental colleagues

IT Skills; including Excel, BACS, Exchequer or similar
