Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Enfield, North London (2 days WFH)

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 + benefits

Our client is a national property management group, based in north London. Due to the continued growth of the company, they are looking for a Junior Accountant to join the expanding Finance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Process supplier invoices, payroll and employee expense claims in a timely and accurate manner
  • Monthly client reporting
  • Quarterly client reporting
  • Bank reconciliations for year-end accounts.
  • Assist with finalising bank reconciliations as required
  • Provision of accurate, timely and effective accounting information to all parties
  • Liaison with Property Managers on accounting matters
  • Liaison with different sections within the accounts department
  • Ensuring the integrity of accounting records and controls in line with prevailing legislation
  • Posting items on the management system (omissions & corrections) when reconciling service charge accounts
  • Posting Accruals and Prepayments on system

Role Requirements

  • At least 18 months' of accounting experience and ideally studying AAT/ACCA/CIMA
  • Property Management knowledge is desirable
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and be well presented with a professional appearance.
  • Good organisational skills and are willing to be flexible and assist with a variety of different tasks within the department.
