Our client is a London-based fine art shipping and specialist art logistics provider, serving some of the world’s top galleries, museums, and private clients. Their team consists of industry-leading talent with decades of experience in fine art logistics, installation, and storage.

They are now seeking a Bookkeeper & Accounts Assistant to join their busy team based in Enfield.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in bookkeeping, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a growing company, managing accounts payable and receivable while benefiting from flexible working, private dental insurance, and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Process invoices, payments and receipts.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
  • Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
  • Assist with month-end, quarterly and year-end financial reporting.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

Requirements / Experience:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, including AP and AR.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
