We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Admin Support candidate to work for a wonderful established business in the local Enfield area.
This role plays a crucial role in providing administrative support and handling customer interactions succinctly.
The position is ideal for individuals with a background in sales, customer service, or administration who are looking to advance into a support role within a dynamic team environment.
Core working hours are office-based Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Day-to-Day of the Role
- Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing, supply chain, and operational contacts, becoming a trusted point of contact.
- Manage service request logs for customer complaints and keep customers informed about the processes within our business to ensure they receive the best service possible.
- Update customer portals with order changes by liaising with the commercial department.
- Handle EDI customer queries, order and delivery issues, and ensure all administrative requirements are met efficiently.
- Track national accounts and their orders, making outgoing calls to remind customers about their order placements.
- Manage LOST, downgrade, and back-order reports and take appropriate actions.
- Serve as the primary contact for any EDI key account incoming calls or emails, assisting with order queries or issues.
Required Skills
- Experience in an administrative role, preferably from a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Teams.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage relationships effectively.
- Highly organised with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proactive and innovative with good decision-making skills.
