We are currently partnering with a well-established organisation to find an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join their dynamic finance team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who thrives on using their initiative, while providing first-class service to both internal and external stakeholders. This role offers an attractive hybrid working pattern of two days a week in the office, which is in a prime London location.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are swiftly addressed.
  • Proactively manage and maintain customer accounts, ensuring timely collections and resolving any payment issues to optimise cash flow.
  • Oversee the accurate processing and reconciliation of cash transactions, ensuring all entries are recorded correctly and in compliance with financial procedures.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong Accounts Receivable background with demonstrable experience in bank reconciliations, credit control, and cash management.
  • Empathetic with the ability to manage sensitive customer relationships while balancing business needs.
  • Able to use initiative to solve problems and take ownership of tasks.
  • Excellent communicator with a strong attention to detail.
