Our Facility Maintenance & Cleaning Support is responsible for ensuring that facilities are clean, well-maintained, and safe for employees and visitors. This role includes performing routine maintenance tasks, cleaning duties, and minor repairs as needed.
This role will be 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Duties:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and windows.
- Clean restrooms and replenish supplies (soap, paper towels, etc.).
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly.
- Ensure all common areas are clean and presentable.
- Maintenance Tasks:
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and patching walls.
- Report larger maintenance issues to management.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks.
- Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure that all work areas are hazard-free.
- Inventory Management:
- Keep track of cleaning supplies and request restocks as needed.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance or cleaning roles is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
