We are seeking a Telesales Manager to lead our regional telesales team in Enfield. This role involves managing daily operations, driving team performance, and developing sales strategies in line with company standards and budgets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management and exceptional leadership skills.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the regional telesales team, ensuring sales and margin development align with company performance standards and budget.
- Drive team performance through effective leadership and management of team leaders.
- Ensure telesales staff are making scheduled calls to ideal customers and processing orders accurately and promptly.
- Conduct weekly meetings with pod leaders to review performance against past and future targets, aligning with individual objectives.
- Organise sales incentives and focus on specific product lines to boost sales.
- Ensure effective resolution of customer queries and maintain high levels of customer service.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of market trends and customer needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing a telesales or sales team, with direct reports.
- Ideally have experience in a packaging or FMCG industry.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive team performance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.
- Experience in strategic sales planning and execution.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
