The Role:- Position: Nursery Assistant.
- Salary: £13.50-£15.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Location: Enfield, North London.
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Start Date: Immediate.
As a Nursery Assistant, you will support children's early learning experiences, helping them build confidence, curiosity, and essential life skills in a nurturing and inclusive setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in delivering stimulating EYFS-based activities that promote development.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support, fostering independence and social skills.
- Maintain a safe and engaging environment where children feel encouraged.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and carers to ensure holistic child development.
- Support children with feeding, changing, and daily routines when necessary.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Experience working with children aged 0-5 years in a nursery or preschool setting.
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach to early years education.
- Good understanding of child development and safeguarding.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
