Nursery Assistant

This 40-hour-per-week permanent position is perfect for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys working with children aged 0-5 years in a well-resourced nursery.

• Position: Nursery Assistant.
• Salary: £13.50-£15.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Location: Enfield, North London.
• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Start Date: Immediate.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will support children's early learning experiences, helping them build confidence, curiosity, and essential life skills in a nurturing and inclusive setting.

• Assist in delivering stimulating EYFS-based activities that promote development.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support, fostering independence and social skills.
• Maintain a safe and engaging environment where children feel encouraged.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and carers to ensure holistic child development.
• Support children with feeding, changing, and daily routines when necessary.

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 years in a nursery or preschool setting.
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach to early years education.
• Good understanding of child development and safeguarding.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
