Flux Consulting have partnered with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy, renowned for delivering outstanding property and construction solutions across the public and private sectors. We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor / Senior Building Surveyor to work out of their Enfield office. 

You will play a key role in managing and delivering a variety of building surveying services for a range of clients, with a particular focus on refurbishment, maintenance, and new build projects. If you’re driven to excel, take ownership, and make a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Conduct building surveys, inspections, and reports for a diverse portfolio of properties.
  • Oversee project management for refurbishment and new build schemes from inception to completion.
  • Advise clients on maintenance, repair, and legal issues in relation to property assets.
  • Undertake contract administration and ensure compliance with quality, health, and safety standards.
  • Contribute to the preparation of specifications, tender documents, and schedules of work.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and provide client-focused solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering professional growth within the team.

Requirements of this role will include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
  • Chartered status (MRICS) or working towards chartership (for senior roles, MRICS preferred).
  • Proven experience in a similar building surveying role, ideally within consultancy.
  • Strong technical knowledge across building pathology, refurbishment, and project management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in using surveying software and technology.
