About the Role:
Our client is currently seeking an Assistant Contracts Manager to join their growing team. This role supports the successful delivery of multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to handover. Working alongside the Contracts Manager and project teams, the successful candidate will be involved in planning, coordinating resources, ensuring compliance, managing subcontractors, and maintaining quality control.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least two years of experience in the industry who is eager to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing multiple projects from inception to completion
  • Support with project programming and scheduling to ensure timely delivery
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are adhered to
  • Work with the commercial team to monitor project budgets and costs
  • Conduct regular site visits and provide progress reports
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality and workmanship

About the Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a construction-based role, preferably with a main contractor
  • A solid understanding of construction processes and project management principles
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • A relevant construction-related qualification (desirable)
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites
