Senior Contracts Lawyer

This London based County Council are currently looking for a qualified solicitor, Barrister or fellow of ILEX or equivalent to join their legal services team on a temporary assignment. Primary duties will include to help deliver transformational and exciting projects. The successful candidate must have experience of contracts and procurement law to cover legal work relating to the procurement of goods, works and services, state aid/subsidy control, funding agreements, TUPE issues, drafting and advising on a range of bespoke contract documents, construction contracts, local authority governance, including clearing of internal reports. We are looking for individuals who are accustomed to working at pace in a busy team. Excellent communication and drafting skills and the ability to provide clear and concise legal advice to a variety of audiences.
