Data Centre Supervisor - 60,000 - Enfield (Industry Leader)

We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Data Centre Professional to join a global industry leader, managing one of their flagship accounts based in Enfield. This key role offers a competitive salary of up to 60k plus an attractive benefits package

As a Data Centre Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring that critical systems run smoothly and safely. You will be working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, leading a dedicated team, and ensuring operational excellence in line with company standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a shift team to ensure the effective operation of the site
  • Oversee critical HV systems, including switching, shutdowns, and scheduling of maintenance activities
  • Ensure all safety protocols and operational procedures are strictly adhered to
  • Manage team performance, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Handle emergency situations and troubleshooting effectively
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in High Voltage (HV) systems, including switching, shutdowns, and scheduling
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Previous experience in a critical infrastructure or facilities management role is essential
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
