Position: Nursery Teacher
Location: Enfield, London
Pay: 164 - 270 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM - 4:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Teacher to join our welcoming team at a well-established nursery in Enfield. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the early learning experiences of young children, supporting them in their development during their formative years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating and engaging lessons that cater to the needs of nursery-aged children.
- Support children's emotional, social, and academic development in a nurturing and positive environment.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment that encourages exploration and independent learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing regular feedback to both parents and carers.
- Work closely with colleagues to implement learning activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
- Develop positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's development.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified teacher with QTS and experience in teaching nursery-aged children or within the Early Years sector.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
- A creative and dynamic approach to teaching that inspires young learners.
- Passionate about early years education and supporting children's development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- An enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
