The Role:- Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant.
- Salary: £80-£100 per day, based on experience.
- Start Date: Immediate.
- Location: Enfield, North London, with great public transport links.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide support in the classroom, assist with group activities, and offer 1:1 help to pupils who may need additional guidance.
Key Responsibilities:- Support pupils in their learning, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
- Work with individuals or small groups to deliver tailored interventions.
- Assist the teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom.
- Gain hands-on experience with pupils with a range of abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
- A recent graduate with a degree in any subject, ideally with an interest in education or SEN.
- Enthusiasm for working with children and helping them succeed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, flexible, and empathetic approach to supporting pupils.
- Previous experience working with children (voluntary or paid) is desirable but not essential.
