POSITION: KS1 Teaching Assistant
LOCATION: Barnet Primary School
TRANSPORT: Access to the Northern Line & National Rail Services
QUALIFICATIONS: Strong academic background - Degree or Level 3 qualification desirable
START DATE: ASAP or January 2025
PAY: ÂŁ95 +per day
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational KS1 Teaching Assistant with vision and energy to join the hardworking and caring staff at this wonderful school. This is an exciting opportunity to help make a difference to the lives of the children at our school.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work with our existing team to develop and strengthen the opportunities offered to the children and ensure that we provide them with the best possible education that we can.

Main Purpose of the Job

To support pupils to succeed educationally and socially.

To assist in development of the pupils’ learning, the provision of care and the management of the pupils’ behaviour under the guidance of teaching staff/senior colleagues.
We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. You will have a safeguarding responsibility if appointed.
The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references.
