Job Title: Part-Time Teaching Assistant (Temp to Perm)

Location: EnfieldWorking Hours: Monday - Friday, (08:30 - 13:30)

Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? Do you have experience working with primary school children and supporting those with special educational needs (SEN)? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you!

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Enfield, working with Year 6 learners. This is a temp to perm position, offering the chance to grow and potentially secure a permanent role within the school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Year 6 students with their learning and daily classroom activities.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN.
  • Help create an inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of all learners.
  • Support the class teacher in managing behavior and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Assist with the preparation of lesson materials and resources.
  • Encourage and motivate students to achieve their best.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a teaching assistant, preferably in a primary school.
  • Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia) is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
  • A proactive, patient, and caring approach to supporting learners.
