Long Term Futures are working with an inclusive and supportive secondary school in Enfield, EN3, seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting students' well-being and personal development while working as part of a nurturing and highly skilled pastoral team.

Key responsibilities:
- Build strong and trusting relationships with students, acting as a point of contact for their pastoral needs
- Support students in overcoming barriers to learning, promoting their emotional and social well-being
- Monitor attendance, behaviour, and punctuality, implementing strategies to improve these areas
- Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to support student development
- Assist with behaviour management, mentoring, and conflict resolution when necessary
- Play an active role in delivering pastoral initiatives, assemblies, and group sessions focused on personal growth
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with young people, ideally in a pastoral or mentoring capacity
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting students
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
