Teaching Assistant

We are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide support across the primary age range, including assisting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant passionate about making a difference in students' lives and who thrives in a nurturing school environment.

Role Highlights for a Teaching Assistant:

• Salary: £80-£100 per day.
• Hours: Part-time, term-time only, working 30 hours per week.
• Location: Enfield, North London, with good transport connections.
• Start Date: December 2024 - start supporting students ahead of the new term.

Your Role as a Teaching Assistant:

• Provide dedicated support for children with SEND, adapting learning activities to meet their individual needs.
• Assist in delivering small group interventions and one-on-one support to help children achieve their learning goals.
• Work closely with teachers to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Use initiative to adapt teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning needs.
• Support the social, emotional, and academic development of students, fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

We're Looking For in a Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with children, particularly those with SEND, is highly desirable.
• A caring, patient, and flexible approach to supporting children's needs.
