Are you passionate about making a positive impact on children's behaviour and learning? We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant to work with Key Stage 2 pupils in Enfield. This is an exciting opportunity to support children in overcoming barriers to learning and achieving their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working in schools, preferably within Key Stage 2.
  • A strong background in supporting students with behavioural challenges.
  • Skills in managing and de-escalating challenging situations effectively.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • A proactive, patient, and resilient approach to working in a school environment.
  • An understanding of strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing tailored support to pupils with behavioural needs, ensuring they feel understood and valued.
  • Implementing behaviour management strategies to maintain a calm and productive learning environment.
  • Working one-to-one or in small groups to support learning and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to create Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs).
  • Encouraging students to develop social skills, self-confidence, and positive attitudes towards learning.
  • Monitoring and reporting on progress, identifying areas for further support.
