We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring others. This role requires an individual who can effectively engage with participants, helping them to develop their skills and achieve their goals. The Coach will play a vital role in fostering a positive environment that encourages growth and learning.

We are looking for a personable, motivated professional to work closely with our students. The role requires a self-starter who is able to build excellent links with potential employers, while upskilling students with SEND or barriers to learning to support them on a supported internship programme.

Job Coaches proactively support our students to develop job searching skills, to access work rotations within a host business, to develop their functional English and maths, and ultimately, to progress into paid employment.

Duties

  • Develop and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of individuals or groups.
  • Provide one-on-one mentoring sessions to enhance personal and professional development.
  • Communicate effectively with participants, ensuring clarity in instructions and feedback.
  • Maintain organised records of participant progress and achievements.
  • Utilise IT tools to track performance metrics and facilitate communication.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing any queries or concerns from participants promptly.
  • Foster an inclusive atmosphere that promotes teamwork and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a coaching or mentoring role is preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in using office software and IT tools relevant to coaching activities.
  • A background in customer service is advantageous.
  • A genuine interest in helping others succeed and grow.
