About the Role: Year 3 Teacher

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Class Teacher to join our thriving primary school in Enfield. As a Year 3 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the curriculum, ensuring academic progress, and fostering a positive classroom environment. Working alongside a supportive Teaching Assistant and other staff members, your role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons across core subjects such as reading, writing, and numeracy, while incorporating enrichment activities to broaden pupils' experiences.   • Strong Curriculum Knowledge: Expertise in the National Curriculum for KS2 subjects, particularly English, Maths, and Science.
  • Enhanced DBS Check: Required for safeguarding and child protection.
  • Classroom Management and Assessment Skills: Proven ability to manage behaviour and assess pupil progress effectively.
  • Good Communication and Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan and teach well-structured lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, focusing on reading, writing, and numeracy.
  • Student Progress: Monitor and assess students’ progress regularly, providing feedback and support to help them reach their potential.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organised, calm, and disciplined learning environment to encourage effective learning.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Teaching Assistant and other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
  • Parental Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on pupil progress and engaging them in their children's education.
